The West Coast Railway Heritage Park offers educational class programs year-round!


GUIDED TOURS

Explore the highlights of our impressive collection through a variety of Museum-trained volunteers. Engaging, hour-long tours give visitors the opportunity for hands-on experience and learning about our historical pieces. From the magnificent Royal Hudson, to the lovingly restored Brightbill House; we immerse visitors in a plethora of Canadian Railway history.

Tours are suitable for everyone; it’s an enjoyable experience for all ages. Get your club, community group, kids camp, or group of friends rallied up to come and visit us today!

  • The historical tale of how Western Canada was built
  • The journey of European immigrants migrating from their Eastern homes
  • The history of steam and diesel locomotives
  • A look at how Squamish has evolved over time
  • The story of each of our rail-cars and their roles including who lived, worked, and traveled in them.

Plus, our experienced guides can customize your tour based on your student’s or group’s needs.

After your tour, take a ride on our mini-rail to experience our 12 acre park in style!

GROUP DEFINITION

  • Minimum of 10 guests in your party
  • One group coordinator acting as a liaison between your group and the West Coast Railway Heritage Park
  • One payment only per group
  • Booking reservations must be made more than 48 hours in advance of their arrival and are subject to availability.


GROUP LUNCH OPTION
Groups are welcome to bring their own lunch and enjoy it in the park grounds, or we can offer a convenient packed lunch for you to enjoy. Orders must be reserved at least 10 days in advance of your arrival, including any dietary requirements.
